Experience a wonderful day outside of Paris with this day trip which combines 2 of the most visited sites around Paris. A truly popular excursion that will lead you in the morning to the edge of Normandy, where you will visit Claude Monet's
home, the "Father of Impressionism". Discover the famous gardens created
by the impressionist painter, and the well known Japanese bridge in the
midst of its flowered paths, wisterias, azaleas and the well-known lily
ponds. Enjoy the
quaint charm of Monet's home as you admire the precious collection of
Japanese engravings on display.
Around noon, you will stop for lunch at the Moulin de Fourges, a picturesque mill on the banks of the Epte River before heading back to Paris to spend the afternoon in Versailles. Here you will discover Versailles Palace, residence of the Sun King, Louis XIV. You will visit freely the palace with an audio-guide for about an hour "The great apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, and the Queen's bedroom. At the end of your visit if time allows you will have some free time to discover the picturesque formal gardens "A la Francaise"
